We have a fantastic opportunity for a Master Data Administrator to join our Data team as FitFlop embark on an exciting period of projects to improve our core systems. Our Data Team play a key role in the business to ensure all product related data is accurate and applied on time to our systems, allowing the streamlined process of development, ordering, production, shipping, sales, and invoicing processes to be carried out.
This is a great opportunity to get a holistic view of how the organisation and fashion brands work. You will be working closely with multiple global departments, learn a lot about footwear product and processes, all while being a gatekeeper of the data flow.
You’ll be all about data and some who is keen to learn and develop in this position. A system ‘whizz’ with a keen eye for detail and a knack for communication, efficiency, and planning. You’ll have an interest in both numbers and product and will ideally some background or work experience in a data driven role. You will be key to maintaining the Master Data processes and help to transform them into a standardised, effective, and future-proof version of them into our ne ERP System.
The Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the product lifecycle of the seasonal product range
- Set up new items on Microsoft Navision (NAV) and on the distributor ordering system (FF365)
- Coordinate with all relevant teams to ensure the timely delivery and accurate maintenance of all mandatory data for seasonal product range setup
- Monitor the dynamically changing factory and price details and update them on our systems
- Ensure that all essential product information (weights, dimensions, UPC and HTS codes) are distributed to the relevant stakeholders on time
- Maintain a shared sample tracker and create sample items on NAV
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure that their needs are met, and any issues raised as resolved on time
- Become a Super-User of Smartsheet by creating and managing seasonal sheets and reports, and the connections between Smartsheet and other systems
- Work closely with the Technology Support Team to test areas of improvement in NAV
- Use and troubleshoot Power Query tools in Excel – all of which we will provide training for
- Support new system related projects at workshops
- Provide any feedback and training to stakeholders to make improvements
The Person:
- You’ll have a huge interest in data and systems, with an eager attitude to learn and develop
- Experience working within fashion or retail would be great – but if not, having a keen interest is great too
- An advanced skillset with Microsoft Excel, and we will provide training and support to develop your skills
- A strategic thinker who loves data and working collaboratively across multiple departments
- An organiser and meticulous planner with an excellent eye for detail
- Good process improvement and problem-solving techniques
- Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
- You’ll be able to juggle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
- A good understanding (or experience) of master data management, supply chain and finance is advantageous as these are the main department users of our ERP system
- As this is a data role working with systems, any experience working with ERP systems will be beneficial but not essential – this could be NAV, NetSuite, or SAP amongst many more
- Any experience with Power Query, Smartsheet, Tableau, or Snowflake is again beneficial, but not essential as you’ll be trained on these
