Commercialization Manager
As Commercialization Manager you’ll work as part of the Asia-based team to ensure all products are properly engineered and commercialized in-line with our strategies.

As Commercialization Manager you’ll work as part of the Asia-based team to ensure all products are properly engineered and commercialized in-line with the FitFlop Product Strategy/ Brand Standards.
You’ll have commercialization experienced in footwear, ideally with sandals/casual/sneakers brands and have fantastic relationship building skills and a great communication style – you’ll challenge and influence but in the right way.
You’ll be a team player but you’ll also be self-motivated and able to work independently as this role is based in South Vietnam, and travel overseas when necessary.
The Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring all Graded/Full Sizes samples and Platinum Samples (confirmation sample) are executed to the correct specification and in-line with FitFlop Aesthetic, Fit, Quality and Product Testing standards.
Ensure Fit, Feel & Aesthetics are maintained and effectively translated into production processes.
Manage production transfer project in gathering completed tech pack for seamless transition between factories.
Coach factory technician to manage style in T4/PP Trial (Pre-Production).
Attend Buy Ready Meeting to ensure Confirmed Spec, Visual Seal Sample, Fit Approved Sample, Material Swatches, and Packaging are in place before style is released for buy.
Organize RFC/T2 (Ready for Commercialization) Hand-Off Meeting with PD, Tooling shop, supplier, factory with all aspects meeting commercialization requirement.
Verify full sizes last grading, construction is suitable for product type intended.
Lead Grading Meeting (T2/T3) to verify all grades are correct and fitting is as the confirmed Fit Approved Sample.
Organize and verify Fit and Wear testing for Graded and Full Sizes trial samples.
Attend cutting die and stock fitting trial to ensure all dies and components are graded correctly.
Work closely with Material and QA team on approval of material/componentry, relevant colour windows, finishing standards available for factory pre-production meetings.
Communicate Brand testing standards to factories according to material/components and whole shoe testing requirement.
Sign-off model specific Process Flow Chart, SOP (Standard Operation Procedure), critical measurements as part of quality plan.
Collaborate with production/QA team to establish best practices for manufacturing process.
Lead with QA and factory Pre-Production/T4 meetings and generate trial summary to ensure all queries are resolved before production starts.
Participate in Tear Down Meeting to mitigate risk in commercialization and production.
Tooling Responsibilities:
Approve FSR (full sizes run) 2D drawing, 3D data, wooden model before opening production tooling.
Establish lead time and track progress for Graded/Full Sizes tooling to meet commercialization deadline.
Engage in production tooling trial to validate component measurements, density, texture/coating application, performance matching to spec.
Ensure tooling maintenance is tracked and monitored.
The Person:
You will already have gained experience in footwear commercialization, with in depth understanding of pattern engineering, fitting, Tooling, construction, materials and manufacturing processes.
Strong Technical, numerical, analytical and problem solving skills.
Challenge and continuously seek improvement in all aspects of Commercialization management to meet with KPI..
Ability to work with different international cultures and working to deadlines.
Ability to work cooperatively with a team (Team Work).
Effective interpersonal communication skills.
Vietnamese/English is mandatory, Mandarin is a plus.
IT skills: MS Office mandatory with advanced Excel, PowerPoint.
