The real Living Wage is independently calculated based on the actual cost of living and is higher than the government's minimum wage rates. Announced annually by the Living Wage Foundation during Living Wage Week, it reflects what people need to earn to meet everyday living costs.

Achieving this accreditation is an important milestone for us and reflects our commitment to doing the right thing for our people. It aligns closely with two of our core values: Better and Human.

Better means continually looking for ways to improve and make a positive impact. By committing to the real Living Wage, we're investing in the wellbeing of our people and helping to create a fairer, more sustainable workplace.

Human is about putting people first, treating everyone with respect, and creating an environment where individuals feel valued and supported. This commitment extends beyond our directly employed teams to include third-party contracted colleagues who help keep our business running every day, such as our cleaning teams. We have ensured that all eligible colleagues are paid or have a clear plan in place to be paid the real Living Wage.

We're incredibly proud of this achievement and what it represents. It's one more way we're building a workplace where people can do great work, feel supported, and grow their careers with confidence.
