Our US B2B Sales Team have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Account Executive to join them, based from our Manhattan office and showroom.
Your focus will be managing our e-retailers accounts including Zappos, Amazon 3Ps and Drop Ship accounts in addition to Independent specialty stores. You will be responsible for driving the digital strategy to achieve sales targets and financial goals. Develop marketing strategies to enhance brand positioning and bring in new business. Day to day account management including sales analysis, seasonal markets, in season sell off, and more.
The Responsibilities:
- Seasonal sell in during market, creating assortments to achieve sales targets. Some trade show travel may be required.
- Manage monthly forecasts and projected sales across all accounts
- Analyze business trends on a weekly/monthly/seasonal level and make recommendations to the account. Provide recaps with actions.
- Understanding of the competitive landscape and how competitors are driving their business.
- Drive sell-in/sell thru, monitor inventory, and use this to identify in season business opportunities
- Flag risks and opportunities in a timely and quantified manner; Offer creative solutions to offset these risks
- Develop and implement long-term growth strategies
- Seek new business development opportunities within e-retailer arena/existing business
- Work cross functionally to ensure all aspects of e-commerce ecosystem are optimized including content, search, advertising, catalog, inventory, purchase experience, reviews.
- Develop marketing calendar and key drivers. Provide marketing recommendations based on data.
- Setup new product on all platforms
- Troubleshoot issues with product/launches
- Liaising with digital counter parts to align on global strategies and create a cohesive message that speaks to our regional customer
- Work closely with Director of Sales on seasonal plans, forecasts and strategies
- Manage MAP policy and monitor enforcement
- Manage the commercial terms and contract negotiations with the buyer
- Work with our Customer Services, Supply Chain and Finance teams to manage effective processes in operations.
- Partner with Planning team to manage inventory and monthly buy cycle for B2B stock location
The Person:
- Established Jr Account Executive within fashion / footwear (footwear experience is of course a bonus but we recognize great sales people can come from a number of industries)
- Account management experience with online accounts (Amazon, Zappos, Outdoor Equipped, and others that you can bring the relationship with)
- Relationships with specialty stores around the US.
- Experience planning, growing and managing a business, financially savvy
- Tenacious and hungry to succeed, with the determination to raise the game and make a difference - you see challenge as opportunity and are a problem solver
- You’ll have progressive sales and business development experience with an ability to open new doors, win new business and create lasting relationships
- You’ll be experienced in developing product segmentation strategies for each channel (MAP pricing and 3PL)
- You’ll have a strong affinity with our Brand, able to confidently articulate our Brand strategy to support the delivery of your sales numbers with your accounts and increase revenue and partnership opportunities
- Ensure that all sales channels will function effectively within the market place by collaborating with FF.com and B2B markets
- It goes without saying that you’ll have strong communication skills - you’ll be customer-orientated with a collaborative approach and be great at building relationships and consensus
- A strategic and analytical thinker, you’ll be able to act quickly and effectively when balancing multiple tasks and are also happy to be hands-on and get stuck in to the day-to-day
- Flexible and approachable, comfortable operating in an agile environment;
- You’ll have strong analytical skills and be tech-savvy, an advanced user of Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. as well as ERP systems experience (planning, inventory/order management) will be important
