Wholesale Planning Assistant
We're hiring for a Wholesale Planning Assistant to join our Demand Planning Team in London

Demand Planning refers to the process of forecasting the trends of B2B accounts both future & in-season sales. Our Demand Planning team work closely with our commercial teams and the buying teams of our key accounts. We are looking for that individual that can help us drive and deliver our remit to the wider business, help us deliver the service levels required to meet the important business growth projections, giving us that support, yes, administratively but also analytically, and commercially, an individual who can also add texture and colour to our fantastic team! You will be working closely with Planners, Customer Service and Stock Controllers.
The Responsibilities:
- Assist the Planners in the demand planning for new & existing products within the B2B channels
Replenishment:
- Actioning Monday Replenishment requirements for consignment partners (John Lewis & Next)
- Ensuring Daily Amazon UK replenishment is in acted in a timely fashion
- Highlighting threats and opportunities and working closely with demand planner to ensure maximum sales and optimised cover are in place
- Running prebook reports to support Demand Planners with trade
Intake:
- Running and updating purchase order data for review and analysis
- Ensuring product availability and dates are maximized for business needs, reporting variances highlighting opportunities & threats to order book, with in mind, any impact to demand planning
Buy Process:
- Support demand planners in the monthly buy process – running reports, setting calendar events for cut offs, updating buy files, etc.
- Prepare all information for seasonal/monthly/weekly forecast meetings for B2B channels.
- Support on the monthly future buy optimisation
- Managing the availability change log due to cancellations or deferring buys
- Support with Buy Summaries to commercial teams
- Support on Amazon weekly & monthly reporting requirements -> S&OP updates
- Working with product merch and commercial to ensure everything is prepared for the buy process
The Person:
- Experience of supporting a Wholesale B2B team with planning & merchandising functions within fashion or the footwear industry is preferable.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint (Xlookups, ifs, Index Match, Pivots, Graphs)
- Knowledge of Tableau would be beneficial ,but not essential
- Understanding of KPI’s.
- You’ll be a proactive person enthused by the results of your team and your division
- Excellent multi-tasker who isn’t afraid of a challenge or change !
- Commercially savvy
- You’ll be on the pulse with all channels of activity
- Positive attitude and of course, a great sense of humour
- You’ll be creative but also have an analytical mindset.
