We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Data Migration Analyst to join our team to support the migration of data to our new ERP system, NetSuite, on a fixed term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in data extraction, cleansing, and transformation, as well as expertise in migrating data to NetSuite. You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
The Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and specifications for the NetSuite migration.
- Extract data from multiple sources, including legacy systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Conduct data cleansing activities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the data before migration.
- Transform and map data according to the requirements set forth for the NetSuite ERP system.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of data migration processes, mapping, and data quality reports.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation post-migration to ensure data integrity and resolve any discrepancies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain an understanding of NetSuite's data structures and functionalities to effectively analyse and perform data migrations.
- Create Dashboards in NetSuite to aid business partners across various departments.
The Person:
- Experience in master data management, data migration, or related roles.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to data quality and integrity.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data issues in a clear manner.
- Self-motivated, being able to work independently and proactively.
- Knowledge of data governance and best practices in data management.
- Experience with NetSuite (especially CSV upload functionality) is essential.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance processes within retail / fashion is highly advantageous.
- Experience with Tableau preferred.
- Experience with MS Dynamics Navision and databases very advantageous.
