We are looking for a commercially savvy, Interim Head of Global Trade Marketing to build a dynamic team that champions and directs marketing activity across our partner network (distributors, wholesale, owned and digital) across UK, DACH, and the U.S.  The role is a key interface between our Product, Commercial and Brand teams and is responsible for brand guardianship across our partner network.

You and your team will be accountable for strategic planning, execution, review and budgeting of all marketing plans as agreed in conjunction with our partner accounts. You will be working closely with our Commercial teams to deliver on key sales objectives whilst championing brand and our premium positioning.

To be successful in this role you’ll be a well-seasoned senior Marketing lead with global experience managing B2B wholesale and distributor partners and well versed in striking the balance between commercial and brand objectives.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Build close and collaborative internal partnerships with our global Commercial teams, plus key Marketing stakeholders
  • Responsibility for the generation and execution of detailed strategic and tactical plans for our Wholesale and Retail channels
  • Take the core elements of Retail Marketing to the next level – this includes creation of bespoke sell-in content, enhanced execution focus, next level resource (within the UK, DACH, and US markets), budget allocation planning, an increased focus on results and leanings, plus how our investments effect the health of the business
  • Lead and execute exceptional trade marketing activations, leaving no stone unturned:
    • Create 360 activations to drive awareness, build brand, and reach new audiences
    • Retail and accelerate the development of global seasonal store refreshes, POS and displays, in partnership with the Brand team
    • Accelerate the retail activation side of our offering – from an advanced GWP program, to seasonal activities
    • Own our Global NSO programme, working closely with the Distributor teams in EMEAI and APAC on launch material
  • Team training - covering the above areas of responsibility, with a focus on how we educate floor staff on what makes FitFlop unique and better
  • Maximising our impact at Tradeshows and Show Rooms, by creating global launch packs
  • Full ownership of our Trade Marketing budget

 

The Person:

  • Well-seasonal experience within the global fashion, lifestyle, or beauty brand or retail
  • Demonstrate partner, B2B and/or retail marketing experience on an international level
  • Clear experience within the Trade or B2B marketing channel, with experience leading and developing successful teams
  • Strong understanding of branding and working within brand guidelines
  • Passion for delivering high impact 360 campaigns and driven to deliver ROI
  • Able to work under deadline pressure and juggle multiple projects across multiple time zones
  • Maturity and experience in dealing with multiple business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environment
  • Keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, positive attitude, energetic and adaptable to change
  • Experience managing global marketing budgets
